Justin Barnett
I’m Justin Barnett, and I serve as the Executive Pastor on the Hill. I’m originally from Huntsville. My wife, Joanna, and I have been married for 10 years, and we have two kids, Mack and Annabeth. My family and I love the faith family that the Lord has gathered together here at Church on the Hill. Joanna and I met at the University of North Alabama, where we got our undergraduate degrees. I went on to get my master’s degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I love encouraging the Body of Christ and helping people connect with how God is calling them to be part of His mission. As Executive Pastor, I get to lead the church through the details of everyday ministry. I have served in various staff roles for the church since January 2018. I was originally hired to lead our Groups Ministry, and I’m thankful to still have a front-row seat to this ministry as it has grown exponentially since our church first started. One interesting thing about me is that memorizing birthdays, dates, and numbers comes naturally to me.
