Bobby Burt
My name is Bobby Burt, and I serve as one of the pastors on the Hill, leading senior adult ministry and pastoral care through home, hospital, and nursing facility visitation. I also preach and teach as needed.
Originally from Tupelo, MS, I married my wife, Rana, in December 1987. We have two children, John and Katie, and a granddaughter, Abigail. Our family moved to Huntsville in 2007 to serve at University Baptist Church. Following the merger with The Well Church, I transitioned into my current role at Church on the Hill.
I hold a Ph.D. in Christian Education and a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Ministry and Church Health from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where I also taught for eighteen years.
My passion is teaching biblical truths in a way that helps people grow in their faith and live out their calling. Outside of ministry, I enjoy Disney trips with my family, yard work, handyman projects, drawing, painting, and writing. God has led me through an unexpected journey, and I believe that if He can use me, He can use anyone!
